Hi, I'm Orca Whale! You can find me in oceans all over the world. I eat everything from fish to walruses, seals, and sharks! I can eat up to 500 pounds/225 kg of food a day. I am known for my black and white skin, which helps me camouflage myself in the water: my black back blends in with the water, while my white belly blends in with the sun shining on the sea. Did you know that I can swim up to 100 miles/160 km a day? Orcas live together in groups called pods, led by our moms and grandmothers. We stay with our family all our lives and we spend our days swimming, feeding and playing. Munchkin has partnered with the International Foundation for Animal Welfare (IFAW) and the Whale Sanctuary Project to give important species a voice and help protect them for future generations.
